High Protein Sausage Egg and Cheese Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

3 Al Fresco Country Style Breakfast Links

1 egg

1/2 cup egg whites

1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese

1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Seasonings of choice (we like garlic salt, pepper, and everything bagel)

1/4 cup veggies of choice (we use peppers and onions)

Green onion, chopped for garnish

Directions:

  • 1Preheat oven to 400°F
  • 2Spray an oven safe bowl with nonstick cooking spray
  • 3Add all the ingredients into the bowl, whisk well and bake for 35-45 minutes (or until the eggs are set)
  • 4Garnish and enjoy! (Tip: If you aren't eating the bowl immediately allow to cool before adding the green onion)
