"When you’re craving a restaurant-style meal, but don’t want to pay restaurant prices, al fresco Apple Chicken Sausage saves the day. This ingredient makes week-night dinners simple, yet packed full of flavor! It’s a staple in my fridge."
Ingredients
1 package al fresco Sweet Apple Chicken Sausage, diced
2 medium slices of bakery fresh sourdough bread
2 tbsp. caramelized onion hummus
2 cups kale
1 tbsp. craisins
2 tsp. olive oil
2 tsp. honey
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
Directions:
- 1Add balsamic vinegar and honey to sauté pan. Bring to a boil then lower heat to let simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 2Pour olive oil in pan on medium heat and lightly sauté kale and sliced sausage for ~5 minutes.
- 3Toast bread.
- 4Spread hummus on toast, then top with kale, sausage, craisins.
- 5Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
- 6Serve and Enjoy!
